Genevieve Nnaji

This woman is a special breed of queen, a queen bee that is the center of attraction whenever she wants it! A dark goddess that has transcended the role of mortal queendom and is now an immortal deity in the Nigerian entertainment space, and beyond.

Among the top successful actresses of her time and even the recent ones, she has proven to be above board in terms of scandals, having maintained a very clean slate and refusing to response in the rare cases of her fracas with the media.

She has proven it over and over again that she is in a class of her own. But as always, success has many admirers and also has its fair share of haters, that is the way life is.

Over the weekend she was reputed to have make a remark on her Instagram about mental health: ”Mental health is more spiritual than it is physical. Rededicated your life to the God you serve. Get re-baptized.” she wrote.

As if they were waiting for her to speak, the social media has been on fire over her statement, first Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze.

He did not waste time in refuting her statement, saying that being a celebrity with huge following does not necessarily make someone an authority on issues.”If she said it was both spiritual and physical I’d agree that that’s her opinion”.

But, Pastor thinks differently from Freeze, quoting from the scriptures about King Saul to show that actually mental health can be spiritual.

Whether he is clout chasing or just wants to be heard in the milieu, Uche Maduagwu goes dirty by dragging Genevieve with the scrabbling of her statement to: “The only thing more spiritual than physical is not being married at 42”.

Like they say in Nigeria, ‘Issit your Marriage?’ The dark goddess left the building hours ago and the boys are still scattering their hair over nothing.

Let's hear from you
